Susan Harbage Page

Susan Harbage Page (born 1959) is an American photographer and visual artist who explores issues of race, gender, and immigration through photography, site-specific Installation Art, painting, and drawing. She has exhibited internationally in Bulgaria, China, France, Italy, Israel, and the United States. She is the recipient of numerous awards and fellowships and is Assistant Professor in the Department of Women’s and Gender Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
== Biography ==
Susan Harbage Page was born in 1959 in Greenville, Ohio. She grew up in North Carolina and lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She received her B.M. and M.M. (saxophone performance) from Michigan State University and an M.F.A. (photography) from the San Francisco Art Institute as well as a Certificate of Knowledge of the Italian Language from the University for Foreigners in Perugia, Italy.
